What We Do
WHAT: Openhouse Senior Housing
WHO: Stationery system
WHY: What good is a logo if you don’t put it on something? This stationery system was the final phase of our logo and identity project for openhouse, a senior housing complex for aging gay and lesbian city residents who want to stay in San Francisco. The pink and gray band became a design element that appeared throughout their brand’s design system.
WHAT ELSE: Organizational brochure and style guide
WHAT: Stationery system
WHO: Resource Media
WHY: We’d partnered up with public relations firm Resource Media in the past, so when they came to us wanting their own design system, we were happy to oblige. We gave them a new logo and tagline featuring a series of icons to demonstrate their past and future. The new system was used across all six of their satellite offices.
WHAT ELSE: Logo, tagline, style guide and PowerPoint templates
WHAT: Stationery system
WHO: San Francisco Zen Center (SFZC)
WHY: The Zen center here in San Francisco is one of the first and largest in the U.S. Generous membership donations help them thrive, as do their organic farm, retreat center, and lecture series. The people involved in the center live a very simple existence; we wanted our stationery system to complement that lifestyle. Keeping it simple while including all three practice centers was the design challenge on this project.
WHAT ELSE: Logo remodel, newsletters, class schedule brochures, event invitations and donor outreach
WHAT: Stationery system
WHO: Greenpeace
WHY: This stationery system was part of an extensive project we did for Greenpeace’s Project Hot Seat campaign. Trying to influence Capitol Hill on global warming decisions can’t easily be done without a bunch of dedicated activists. Even grassroots organizers like having a business card, and it’s a proven fact that congressional leaders pay more attention when they get correspondence from environmental groups that looks professional.
WHAT ELSE: Logo, regional brochures, website and fact sheets
